Hubflo or SoloBase? It depends on how many of you there are.
Hubflo is a client portal for a service firm: a team running onboarding, projects and billing for many clients at once. SoloBase is a headquarters for a company of one: the door clients find you through, a private Client Hub for each of them, and the counter that pays your own Stripe.
Which one are you?
A firm, one person, or one person with help.
A firm with a team and a process
Several people serve many clients, each with a role, and the work runs on steps you want the same every time.
One person, hired by referral
Clients come because someone told them your name. They want to see what you do, choose you, and work with you directly.
One person with a few contractors
Your crew works with the client in their Client Hub and never sees the money. The client still sees one name: yours.
What SoloBase does
Headquarters for a company of one.
Before a client is a client, they look you up. A Studio starts there: a card and a site under your name, a front desk where they choose you, then a private Client Hub when they say yes.
A front door under your own name
When a referral looks you up, they find your card and the Studio Site behind it: what you do, whether you are taking clients, and one way to start. Your own domain on Pro.
From inquiry to paid
An inquiry from your card lands in your Requests. You accept it and send a proposal in their Client Hub; they sign by typing their name and pay the deposit, and numbered invoices follow.
A Client Hub per client that outlives the project
The brief, your notes, the files and each question, attached to the note it is about, in a private Client Hub only you and your client can open.
Money into your own Stripe, at 0%
Deposits, invoices and paid access go from your client straight to your own Stripe account, and SoloBase never holds the money.
Honestly
When Hubflo fits you better.
It comes down to who does the work and how many clients run at once.
A team serves your clients
If several people share the clients, with roles and permissions between them, a firm’s portal is the shape built for that.
Your work runs on repeatable steps
If every client goes through the same forms, tasks and automations, a tool built around a firm’s operations will serve you better. SoloBase stays the front door and the counter.
Hubflo or SoloBase, answered.
Is a Client Hub a client portal?
Yes. It is the part your client opens: their brief, the notes and files, the proposal and the invoices, under your name and on your domain.
Does SoloBase have a public site, too?
Yes. Your card opens into your own Studio Site, with your guides and your services, so a referral finds you before they become a client.
Does SoloBase do proposals and e-signature?
Yes. You send the scope and price in your client’s Client Hub, they sign by typing their name, and the deposit goes to your own Stripe. The signed proposal is kept as a PDF. For a contract your lawyer drafted, keep the tool you use for it.
Does SoloBase take a cut of what my clients pay?
No. 0% on every plan. Money goes straight to your own Stripe account; Stripe’s standard processing fees apply.
What is live today?
Live: the card and Studio Site, the Content Hub, Client Hubs, proposals with e-signature and a deposit, numbered invoices, Community Hubs with channels and support, payments to your own Stripe, calls for up to 25 people, and booking at your open times.
Are you affiliated with Hubflo?
No. Product names are trademarks of their owners.
