One tap, and Lupe picked “Website for a local business”.
The people are illustrative, not customers. Each story shows how a practice like theirs runs on SoloBase.
Before
Decisions lost in chat, scope that keeps growing
With SoloBase
Scope, staging links and the handover as notes
Now
“One more small change” becomes a new project
Omar builds websites for local businesses. He wants to be treated as the expert he is, and too often a project drifts: a new idea every week, and the decisions lost in chat.
His card came from his GitHub profile in a minute. A restaurant owner finds it, picks “Website for a local business” and describes the site she has and the one she wants.
With SoloBase, Omar accepts, and her Client Hub opens with her answer as the brief. The scope is a note, each week’s progress and the staging link are notes, and the handover is a note she can come back to.
What changed: when “one more small change” arrives, the agreed scope is right there, and she sends it from his card as a new request, priced like any other. Next year’s update opens a Client Hub of its own.
Coming: a monthly care plan, billed inside the Client Hub.

Kim
Virtual assistant for four founders
Kim works for four founders, and their requests used to arrive in four different places.
Now each founder has a Client Hub that works as their handbook: how they like travel booked, their vendors, their preferences. Every Friday she posts a note of what she handled and what needs their decision, and tells them it is there. Her tasks stay in her own task tool.
Ben
Runs paid social for local businesses
Ben runs paid social ads for local businesses. His monthly reports used to be PDFs his clients never opened.
Now the strategy is a note, each month’s results are a note, and the ad creatives sit in a note as images, all in the client’s Client Hub. They ask on the line it is about. When the client hires a head of marketing, she reads twelve months of work in one sitting.
