One tap, and Karim picked “Monthly bookkeeping”.
The people are illustrative, not customers. Each story shows how a practice like theirs runs on SoloBase.
Before
“Just following up” emails every month
With SoloBase
A “what I need” note, then the month-end report
Now
Receipts arrive; the chasing stops
Grace keeps the books for eleven small businesses. She wants her clients to feel she is on top of everything, and every month she used to chase the same missing receipts by email.
This is her second year with most of them.
With SoloBase, each month starts with a “what I need” note in the client’s Client Hub, and the answers arrive in its discussion. At month end she posts the report as a note and tells the owner it is ready. When the office manager handles the receipts, Grace opens a shared Client Hub with her in it too.
What changed: the follow-up emails stopped, because the list is where the answers go. When tax season comes, last year is already there.
Coming: monthly billing that sends itself, inside the Client Hub.

Hugo
Accountant for freelancers
Hugo advises freelance designers and writers on their money: what to set aside, what to spend, when to raise their prices. Their questions used to arrive in long email threads he had to dig through.
Now each client has a Client Hub with a note for every quarter’s check-in: the numbers that matter, the decisions, the next step. They ask on the note between check-ins, and the next quarter starts where this one ended.
Ana
Runs a small accounting agency
Ana brings small businesses to a circle of accountant friends, and used to forward every question between them.
Now she takes the client, then invites the accountant who keeps their books into the client’s Client Hub. She stays responsible, and stops being the relay.
