Changelog
What changed, newest first.
Everything here reached real Studios. Where something is in early access or in Stripe test mode, the entry says so.
Updated October 16, 2026
October 2026
- Oct 16 · Calls and booking are Live: calls in a Client Hub, a channel or a direct message, up to 25 people, with screen sharing, and clients booking your open times, free or paid, with reminders.
- Oct 15 · Close a project and your client sees it at once: their Client Hub turns read-only on their screen without a reload, with a line in their notifications.
- Oct 15 · Every call has its own link on your site. A call you schedule sends a calendar invite to the people in its Client Hub, channel or direct message, and ending it before it starts sends the cancellation. In early access.
- Oct 15 · Calls work the way people expect: a full-screen lobby, the call taking the screen with the chat in a column beside it, shared screens, and switching microphone, camera or speaker mid-call. In early access.
- Oct 15 · Your client signs a proposal on a screen of its own, step by step: review, sign, pay. On your side you see their signature in the hand they chose.
- Oct 15 · Your client’s Client Hub opens on its work, with the proposal’s amount, its signature and the deposit’s invoice on its home.
- Oct 15 · Give a Hub its own icon, an emoji or a picture you upload, and your Client Hubs list shows it.
- Oct 15 · Signing a proposal keeps your client’s consent to sign electronically, with the time it was given, and the signed PDF shows their signature in the hand they chose.
- Oct 15 · A client can delete a note they wrote in your Client Hub.
- Oct 14 · Calls, in early access: call inside a Client Hub, a channel or a direct message, up to 25 people, with screen sharing. Call time counts toward your plan’s participant-hours.
- Oct 13 · Get help: one line puts a Help button on your own site or app, and your customers’ questions land in your Community Hub’s Support inbox. Customers already signed in to your app skip the sign-in.
- Oct 13 · Community Hubs: roles, joining by link, muting or removing a member, paid channels for their buyers, and direct messages within your team.
- Oct 13 · Your team works with the client inside their Client Hub, and never sees the money.
- Oct 13 · Clients sign a proposal by typing their full name, and the signed proposal is kept as a PDF.
- Oct 13 · Close a project: the Client Hub stays readable for your client, and they are asked for a few words you can approve for your site.
- Oct 13 · One Client Hub per project: accepting a new request opens a Client Hub of its own.
- Oct 12 · Invoices as records: every payment is a numbered invoice with its PDF, the deposit included.
- Oct 12 · Talk in each Client Hub shows the agreement as it happens: the proposal sent, the yes, each payment.
- Oct 9 · Send a proposal again after changes, bill the next payment in one touch, and see a payment that needs a refund.
- Oct 8 · Accept opens your client’s Client Hub with a proposal drafted. Your client says yes and pays the deposit from there.
- Oct 7 · Booking a call, in early access: clients book your open times, free or paid, with reminders 12 hours and 1 hour before.
- Oct 7 · Your clients can write their own notes for your Client Hub and choose who reads them.
- Oct 7 · A new post reaches your subscribers as a personal letter from your own address, up to four a month.
- Oct 6 · People: readers subscribe by email with a confirmation, signed-in readers in one tap, and you can bring in a Substack or Medium list you own.
- Oct 2 · A “waiting on you” email, one for your whole Studio, with the replies still waiting for you.
September 2026
- Sep 30 · Connecting Stripe checks every permission your key needs, and says which one is missing.
- Sep 25 · Declining a booking can carry a short note in your own words, and your client is told.
- Sep 24 · Search across your Studio: one shortcut finds any Hub, note or person.
- Sep 24 · When a client sends a request, you both get an email, and you both get another when you accept it.
- Sep 23 · Every new Studio comes with its site and its store. A service in your store asks the client its own questions, and accepting a booking opens a Client Hub for that client.
- Sep 23 · One Inbox for everyone waiting on a reply, grouped by person, with the note each question was asked on. The separate bell is gone.
- Sep 22 · Client Hubs for clients: a client asks through your card, you press Accept, and a private Client Hub for the two of you opens with their brief as its first note.
- Sep 22 · Bring in clients you already work with: a name and one line each, and a Client Hub with an invitation when you press Invite.
- Sep 21 · Make a card from a Bluesky handle, and your own profile photo comes with it.
- Sep 21 · Cards on yourname.solobase.me carry a small “Made with SoloBase” at the foot of the site; a card on your own domain carries none. The foot also links your own legal pages.
- Sep 21 · Delete a Studio from Settings, by typing its address to confirm.
- Sep 18 · Make a card from your GitHub handle, or from a link that already carries a name, a role and a city. Anyone can write that link for someone else at /start/invite.
- Sep 18 · Keep your card with your email, as well as with Google, GitHub or Notion.
- Sep 18 · The status bar in your Studio says whether Stripe is in test or live mode.
- Sep 17 · /start: your card in about a minute, from your name, what you do and your city, drawn as you answer, with your local hour and weather.
- Sep 17 · The card turns over like a card in the hand, to a back with a QR code and Save contact.
- Sep 17 · A Client Hub with a price starts in the currency your Stripe account settles in. In early access.
- Sep 15 · Share your card from Settings: the link, a QR code, a share image and an email signature, all made for you.
- Sep 15 · On a phone, your site opens as your card.
- Sep 15 · Requests to join a private Hub arrive in Members, and approving one lets the person in.
- Sep 14 · Payments to your own Stripe account, through a restricted key: a client pays and gets in, with 0% to SoloBase. In early access, in Stripe test mode.
August 2026
- Aug 30 · Publish a Hub as invite-only: only the people you let in can open it.
- Aug · Questions on a note: a member asks on the page they are reading, and you answer from your Studio.
- Aug · Chat rebuilt on our new real-time service, with reactions, attachments you can paste or drop, and a sign of who is here right now.
July 2026
- Jul · A new layout for Hubs and their front pages.
- Jul · Your own domain: connecting one was reworked.
- Jul · Members and Access & pricing, as settings on each Hub.
