Stan or SoloBase? A following, or a few close clients.
Stan is a link-in-bio store for selling to the people who follow you. SoloBase is a Studio under your own name, for the one person who was told your name and wants to hire you. Which fits depends on who pays you.
Which one are you?
It depends on who pays you.
Your buyers follow you
They find you through your posts and buy what you made without a conversation. Many buyers, each one a small part of the week.
Your clients were referred to you
A few named people you work with closely, for weeks or months. Each one is a real part of your year.
You are moving from one to the other
A follower asks for more than a product: your time, your judgment, a project together. That is when a client relationship starts.
What SoloBase does
Headquarters for a company of one.
A client you work with closely needs more than a checkout. A Studio is built around you and each of them.
A front door under your own name
When a referral looks you up, they find your card and the Studio Site behind it: what you do, whether you are taking clients, and one way to start. Your own domain on Pro.
From inquiry to paid
An inquiry from your card lands in your Requests. You accept it and send a proposal in their Client Hub; they sign by typing their name and pay the deposit, and numbered invoices follow.
A Client Hub per client that outlives the project
The brief, your notes, the files and each question, attached to the note it is about, in a private Client Hub only you and your client can open.
Money into your own Stripe, at 0%
Deposits, invoices and paid access go from your client straight to your own Stripe account, and SoloBase never holds the money.
Honestly
When Stan fits you better.
It comes down to who is buying and how.
Your buyers find you through your posts
If your income comes from a following, a store in your bio is the shape built for them.
People buy without talking to you
When what you sell is made once and bought many times, a store fits that work better than a Client Hub per client.
Stan or SoloBase, answered.
Can I use both?
Yes. Keep your store for your following and add your Studio as the link for clients, with a line such as “Work with me.” It is an ordinary link.
Is SoloBase a link in bio?
No. It is a card that opens into your own Studio, where a client sends an inquiry, works with you in a private Client Hub and pays your own Stripe.
Does SoloBase have a feed or a follower count?
No, and it will not. SoloBase keeps one relationship: you and each client, inside a Client Hub.
Does SoloBase take a cut of what my clients pay?
No. 0% on every plan. Money goes straight to your own Stripe account; Stripe’s standard processing fees apply.
What is live today?
Live: the card and Studio Site, the Content Hub, Client Hubs, proposals with e-signature and a deposit, numbered invoices, Community Hubs with channels and support, payments to your own Stripe, calls for up to 25 people, and booking at your open times.
Are you affiliated with Stan?
No. Product names are trademarks of their owners.
